Design Considerations
Walnut has natural colour and grain variation, which can create noticeable differences from door to door. Lighter and darker areas, sapwood, mineral streaks, and grain movement may be present and are part of the character of real Walnut. If you prefer a more uniform wood appearance, Maple or Rift Cut White Oak may be a better fit.
